The “WHY?”
According to the Business Leaders for Michigan| Business Leaders’ Insights (2015), Higher education pays off as trends report 70% of Michigan jobs will require an education beyond high school by 2020. In addition, Higher Education has been linked to lower unemployment and greater earnings (Bureau of Labor Statistics). Davenport University offers graduate course work with flexible scheduling and degrees in health, business and technology.
The “HOW?”
Davenport University will host several Open House style events on various Porter Hills’ campuses so employees can meet face to face with admissions counselors, financial aid representatives, and an academic advisor.
Open Houses will take place at various campuses at various times/days of the week to best serve employees
The “What’s Next?”
Devise a plan for either you or your family member. Consider going back to school or starting school to pursue an associate, bachelor or master’s degree at Davenport University with a reduced tuition rate of 30% for Porter Hills employee and 20% for a dependent.
