Garden Apartments and Townhomes

At Porter Hills Village we understand that you've worked hard to create your current lifestyle. We are dedicated to helping preserve and even enhance all that you have attained. To support your lifestyle, Porter Hills Village offers the Apartments and Town Homes to meet the varying needs of seniors who want to maintain their independence, but have access to care and services should the need arise. Porter Hills offers virtually maintenance free living and a wide variety of exceptional services and amenities.

Life Lease

Garden Apartments and Town Homes at Porter Hills Village are offered through a life lease program which began in 1982. The life lease program was developed in response to our constituents' desire to live in a residential setting with the security of knowing that if their health care needs changed, they would have priority access to assisted living, specialized dementia care, and skilled nursing. The life lease program is comprised of an entrance fee, which is 50% refundable when the apartment or home is vacated by the resident.

Spiritual Services
The Porter Hills Chaplain links residents with local churches if desired, and is available to meet with residents at their request for spirtual counsel. Also, a wide variety of worship opportunities are available for all residents.

Porter Hills Medical Director
The Porter Hills Medical Director is available to become a resident's primary physician. These services are billed to Medicare and the resident's personal insurance company. The Medical Director has a unique ability to communicate directly with our nurses and staff to provide residents with excellent medical care.

  • Access to Pharmacy services, including a Meijer Pharmacist and same day delivery of prescriptions

Access to various programs, such as:
  • Cultural and educational programs provided on the Village campus
  • Shopping trips and a variety of social events and concerts throughout the community
  • Volunteer opportunities to remain active while serving others
