The Porter Hills Foundation is comprised of more than 70 individual funds, each fitting within one of these general categories:

Benevolent Funds - Porter Hills has voluntarily committed itself to offering benevolence care assistance to those whose resources have been depleted through no fault of their own. Residents meeting eligibility criteria may apply for assistance to help them meet the full cost of their care.

Program Funds - Multiple Program Funds exist within the Foundation including, but not limited to, the following:

• Service Support Funds - Qualified residents of our Affordable Housing Communities who need in-home care may receive these services from Porter Hills Home Care free of charge, if all available community resources are researched first, if other agencies cannot provide help, and if funds are available.
• Martindill Wellness Center Endowment Fund  - The Wellness Center focuses on all areas of senior wellness. It offers exercise programs and equipment, a swimming pool and hot-tub and numerous other services and activities. The Endowment was established to cover operating costs.
• Harmony Hall Music Therapy Program - This Fund was established to enhance the quality of life for our residents with Alzheimer's or other dementia.

Capital Funds - As it expands its mission, Porter Hills seeks gifts for capital investment in terms of housing and services. Please call our offices to learn more about current capital-oriented projects.

Wish Lists - From time to time, a need for non-budgeted items for residents and clients arises. Wish Lists were created to try to meet some of these needs. They contain a variety of items, such as artwork, books, healthcare equipment, and carports. Please ask about our Wish Lists - there may be something of interest there for you!
